Peter and Loreta Stojanovski opened the Vardar Restaurant in 1979.
Originally from Macedonia, Peter trained as a chef and worked as a Head Chef in nearby Arundel before he and his young wife Loreta took the plunge and opened the Vardar – one of Littlehampton’s first Mediterranean restaurants.
From day one, their desire was to cook and serve great food influenced by their Macedonian heritage and create a friendly, Mediterranean-style atmosphere for their guests.
